Judge Dredd is a serious, bleak, and gritty comic about serious issues. Such as being a disco DJ with incredibly tacky glasses and being strangled by the physical manifestation of Death itself.

Death has no chill. When his home world realised that all crime is committed by the living and made life itself illegal, he and his squadmates executed sentence on the whole human race...

Has he? It's hard to see, but it kinda looks like his right arm is hanging down. It's pretty clear his left hand is gripping the guy's collar.
