This is seriously good, but it made me reach a conclusion: Dr. Suess straight-up composed rap lyrics.

Or alternatively, we could just do gangsta rap with dr Seuss type lyrics . It sounds amazing and finally gangsta rap would be a good influence on kids!

Impressive, very nice. Now let's see Fox in Socks.

I have genuinely never heard of half of those books. The first of Octember? TF?

VerilyFemme@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 5 pts · 82d (1 reply)

The First of Octember was my favorite Seuss book as a kid!

I really loved the ones he made that leaned into the absurdity. All of his worlds were absurd in some way, but that and To Think That I Saw it on Mulberry Street were very focused on the absurd.

I'm so sorry if it seems like I'm gaslighting you, but you legit just unlocked a core memory for me! Thank you!

Oh, no gaslighting detected. I knew Mulberry St. Just never saw that one or like half of the ones that artist has rapped. Apparently he liked The first of Octember as well, since it seems that was the very first one that he did

He turns the pages in time with the words! Sure, you could have it as audio over a PowerPoint, but that's less human, and ultimately, feels more low effort, even if it isn't.

MonkderVierte@lemmy.zip · 2 pts · 82d

Oh, it has audio. Nevermind.
