The first season of Arcane is excellent, a personal story about living through occupation that barely touches on League of Legends. I really recommend sailing the high seas for it.
The second season is rushed, loses the story of oppression for saving the world from apocalypse, and losing character depth in overly busy rush trying to add LoL lore. It's still beautifully made, but for me it's only an 8/10 after the first season's 10/10.
They haven't had the Runeterra Enlightenment yet, chill, and Cait just did a little martial law, after a terrorist attack, as a treat.
Honestly, Arcane was too cowardly to even do Jayce's "accidental" Brackern Genocide so it's not even that bad as a metaphor for capitalist class dynamics.

The one on the right is Vi. She is from League of Legends originally but I think that depiction is from Arcane, the show.

Catra was a genocidal colonizer who by the end works with absolute monarchs.

Yeah, but at least the narrative frames that as a bad thing.

Not the monarchism. The magical "right" of princesses to rule over their domains is not a just one.
