San Francisco, California - Discussion

I'm not sure if this is a McMansion per se, but I think it's very....ostentatious. Lmao. I don't like it!!

It's from ZillowGoneWild!

It's obviously a McCastle.

Enough money for turrets, but not enough for archers.

It's not as bad as some, but very harsh and dominating. It needs more plants, maybe some ivy or a bougainvillea growing against the wall.

It definitely isn't a McMansion.

The post says 'it was once “rumored to have been an exclusive gentlemen's club”', and it seems like it being really old explains a lot of the quirks. The interior seems pretty boring and normal, it's only the merlons on the crenellations (yes, I looked those up) that make it look unusual.

I have no sense of the internal architecture, and I wish I did. It seems to have 5 different entrances though! The main double-doors on the balcony out front, 2 front doors below that, and 2 rear entrances, one at ground level and one up a staircase.

Also, am I wrong, or does $1.2m for a 8 bedroom, 4 bathroom house in San Francisco seem absurdly cheap?
