I wish I knew a place I could just grab tvp I already shop at so I don't have to go searching for somewhere to buy it and make an extra trip just to try it and see if I like it, but I wanna try it at some point

When I go to Walmart in the US they have it but it is in a latino neighborhood and it is a brand called El Guapo
It is funny how this is a luxury item in the US but is sold here as carne de soya and used as a shelf stable, low price staple. Often it is used to stretch meat but vegetarians and vegans use it to completely replace it.
