The summer wave of layoffs hit indie: Kwalee Labs (formerly Bonsai Collective) fired EVERYONE, including studio director Holly Emery. The game was packed with woke elements, the protagonist literally discusses her pronouns. Luna Abyss itself is a mediocre FPS-platformer with bullet-hell mechanics, released in late May 2026 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
