Turkey Vulture!

A common fellow to be sure, but not one I had personally seen (since starting birdwatching) and certainly unexpected in my neighborhood first thing in the morning. I had no clue how big these guys got, scared the hell out of me at first 😅

I do my best to educate and entertain!

I've only briefly worked with one wild baby turkey vulture, but our 2 ambassadors, Zsa-Zsa the turkey vulture and Reaper the Black vulture are such sweet birds. I love them so much!

Don't get too close to them things they like to puke rotten meat in your direction to scare you off.
