new relationship you arnt use to sleeping with someone else. They get in the way, you get too hot and your never comfy. After a while you get use to it and you could be in a fucking yoga postion and it doesnt matter.
Same thing happens if you get a new cat or dog and it sleeps on your bed. sleeping is awkward at the best of times.
