Surprisingly, it sounds like a decent thing. Real estate owners were probably unhappy with everything getting cheaper, but for usual people it's a positive change

On one hand building affordable housing is a good thing, on the other hand I'm not quite sure how to feel about the rich using working class people 'as revenge'.
