Travelling like 3 hours one side to see my friend perform. I will be moving out the country next month, so it might be my last chance to see her perform for a while.
I went to a parade celebrating the Stanley Cup Champions. They estimated over 150,000 people showed up. Once the parade passed everyone flooded into the street and there was a stage set up at one end. They introduced all the players and a bunch of staff, each one passing the cup to the next. When that finished they played Queen’s “We Are the Champions” and the whole crowd, still probably over 100k, sang along, which was an amazing experience.
