One of the many reasons I love to throw out genuine compliments when I’m out and about - got a cool pair of earrings? I’m gonna tell you they’re freaking cool. Got a new hat with an awesome design? I’m gonna tell you it looks freakin great!

Sometimes I get some side-eye, but I’d rather be overly positive and bring some small joy to someone than stop because some find it weird.

Cute post, OP!

My interactions after taking up observant compliments have been overwhelmingly positive. 10/10, would recommend

My old dog used to love carrying any stick. He was a black lab. We'd always either give him ridiculously small twigs that barely fit his mouth and he'd be so gentle with, and pleased as punch, or literal fallen trees that he'd drag along as though his life depended on it. He loved them all.

You are an excellent speller.

And your mom is great in bed.
