Needs some blue flecks in it...maybe blueberry skins or drizzle blue syrup in the bottom of the glass.

Float it on top of a layer of blue CuraƧao

Thin shards of meth for the symbolism

ickplant@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 64d

That would be perfect.

Very curious if this would actually be good

Rum and mezcal seems like a weird pairing to me, unless it was a really oaky rum

BarrelAgedBoredom@lemmy.zip · 5 pts · 64d (2 replies)

That or something really grassy/funky like a rhum agricole or an unaged cachaca (technically not rum). I'd swap the honey syrup for regular simple though. I could see honey clashing more with everything else than rum and mezcal clashing

It should probably stick to American ingredients to be more authentic.

kreskin@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 59d

American ingredients...so piss-bear and bourbon?

ryathal@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 64d

It's going to depend on how much matcha you get. It probably needs more sweetness either way. It definitely wouldn't be for everyone, but it's possible the grassy elements of rum, mezcal and matcha could work okay.

Haven't you paid enough already?

BeigeAgenda@lemmy.ca · 6 pts · 64d

And of course the rum is from Cuba and the Mezcal from Mexico, can you get Iranian honey?

I think this one is better. Has the American flag blue included.

Funny how similar these are though.

that beyond sucks. i love mint tea in the afternoon.

kreskin@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 59d

Anyone make it? How does it taste? Rum + mezcal sounds iffy to me.
