Gaah, that's so tempting. Or just taking my computer and putting it in the basement, that'd be a HUGE improvement, but I wouldn't have good internet down there. Maybe we can just build a giant awning in space?
From the router through half the flat, down two flights of stairs, across half the basement, only to end almost right underneath the router. It'd be nice, but also super inconvenient because you couldn't close the doors anymore
My ethernet runs are flat cables that can fit under/above the door. You also could just move said router to be more central. Or get a different access point that's more central.

Better to make a small hole through each floor straight down than run a very long Ethernet cable down the stairs.
