Travel site: “last ticket was sold at quoted price… here is an updated price”. Yet the old price still shows on new searches.

The travel site wanderu.com shows prices after searching. Then when you start the checkout process, the old shenanigan emarges: it claims the ticket was sold and gives you a new higher price.

It could almost be considered fair enough. But then I repeated the same search from another browser. It then shows the same lower price initially even though the DB allegedly got a price update.

Not sure if this is legal but certainly it is enshitification.
