One time I was hiking and just finished dragons tooth in VA. Climbed down heading north to the first campsite at the base of that mountain. It was absolutely infested with those! All night it was like being surrounded by car alarms WHIP OR WILL WHIP WHIP OR OR WILL WILL.
Felt like my fillings would fall out. There's that cliff that everyone takes pictures at, and we went up there for the sunrise, I remember seeing one just giving me the stink eye as I hiked past.
