It was a hilarious quip, especially so and ballsy in the context of where 'twas introduced, and I agree that we're right, but it's been literally 20 years now and now you're just saying that you're right with a non-dog whistle. Whistles sound shrill.
and in fact I would counter that it has a far-left bias

I'm an anarcho-communist. Liberals are still capitalists who benefit from people's suffering at the end of the day. As a heavily disabled person who's in a homeless shelter, I know the pain all too well.
