Working out to any degree that would usually build muscle is counter productive when you’re ill. The course of action that leads to more gains in this instance is to chill.
Four sets of herbal tea, one set of napping. Weirdly enough, avoiding exertion takes discipline too.
especially when you know that any disruption to your routine really makes starting again difficult 😭
I find a good run or bike makes me feel better when i’m sick. Nothing strenuous, just enough to get the blood pumping.
