From the moment this trailer dropped I have been convinced that this game will never come out or even be seen by anyone. So far, I don't feel threatened in my prediction.

What convinced you?

The trailer was enough. It felt like somebody had just watched the new Dune movie and got inspired. But otherwise, it was the most: "We're barely in pre-production" trailer possible. A very Star Wars thing honestly. Announcing movies and shows before a single word of a script has even been written. It felt exactly like that '

That archive link is so much worse than the actual article

How so?

SpaceNoodle@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 36d (1 reply)

It somehow blocks scaling and thinks me directly into a wall of links and ads; if I scroll over to the content on the right, it's too wide for my screen.

Oh ok I thought you were talking about the content of the article.

Much worse only if you've already accepted their ads-spyware through the ads-spyware cookie-wall. If you clear the cache of your browser and step back, they may force you back with the cookie wall.

Just stop with the Star wars already

Oh, come on. I've only seen old trilogy and skimmed though the "new" one (Ep1-3), never seen anything else apart from games like X-Wing or SW Kotor.

I don't find movies to be a holy grail of hollywood, but I somehow love the setting. I'm not really a SW fan at all, but I do love it has so many interesting and spectacular planets/biomes to see, with such exotic names as Kashyyyk or Alderan, plenty different alien species, magician knights jedis of the force, etc. It's like 5yo kid in me left in a candy store.

"Make it Star Wars but also Game of Thrones."
