Good point. It means Proof of Concept.

Just to clarify this: proof of concept in this case means proof that a cyber security issue can actually be exploited to hurt the target software/hardware.

Thanks :) "Exploitarium drops some POCs" is a quite frightening sentence in some scenarios xD

I'm from shitposts where it means piece(s) of crap. So I was wondering why it's news he's dropping logs..

Who are these colourless people? Like gray or?

People in the cultural left in Europe often use this term in order to sensitively describe people who are (historically) discriminated because of their phenotypes. (E.g. Asians, latino, blacks, etc...)
I know you are satirical, but you are also kinda correct. Non-POCs would typically be "whites" (at least in Europe) who are still privileged, going back (at least) since colonialism. (E.g. Nordic, alpine or mediterranean phenotypes")

It’s obvious in the title that’s it’s not referring to this.
I can’t say I’ve ever heard of POC referring to person of colour, but I guess people will latch on to anything these days

Not passive aggressive at all, your comment, also i totally didnt know that it doesnt mean Person oft color in this context

So uh… why? They claim it’s to get people interested in cybersecurity. Isn’t an exploit just as interesting after it’s been responsibly disclosed? The only reason it’d be more interesting for the reader is if you intend to actively use it. Which they claim to not endorse.
It couldn’t possibly be… that they would lie to a faceless megacorp to use their servers to distribute transgressive material for no other reason than to get attention, right?

Kind of a dick move to publish that on a Friday
