I just got this SMS, I've been a customer for over 20 years.
They mostly left me alone for that time but in the last months they've raised my bill twice.
I doubt my service has gotten more expensive in the last 20 years...
What good is a 5 year price guarantee if they raised my price twice this year under an existing price guarantee?
Should I expect my bill to increase every month?
Did they increase the size of the network in the last couple of months to justify that price increase?
Best guess is that if you had a price guarantee, it was that your plan price would not increase, but not that the taxes and fees on the service would not increase, which is why your bill is increasing. Which is total bullshit, I know.
Though the underlying issue is that the money is broken and that to maintain the same level of purchasing power they have to charge more units because each unit is worth a smaller and smaller amount of purchasing power.
I'm betting that if you measured your phone bill with the simple moving average of gold ounces it would decrease and I know that it would decrease if you measured it in Monero because my phone bill has done nothing but decrease over time

They've increased the size of the network a ton in that time, and they've purchased a lot of new spectrum and put it on air, which is probably why.
You are basically forced into pay the increase or leave and they're letting you have the choice.

It's required by law that taxes and fees are listed separately in my bill. These are not taxes and fees.

Pretty sure T-Mobile has a big thing where the price shown is the price already including taxes and fees.
