The moment we said we wanted a kitten we got a kitten through the usual cat distribution service, my kids found it in the neighbor's car. I had heard meowing but thought it was a mockingbird then got this picture from them a couple hours into my workday.
And my oldest daughter has been trying so hard to get the neighborhood cats fixed and released but the humane society is overbooked as well and they won't keep any unless they are very socialized and gentle.
Fix your cats, humans.

Of the handful of kittens I've rescued from storm drains and engine bays, they all sounded like frogs to me.
Spay, neuter, and don't let your cats outside to devastate the local wildlife and make homeless, starving kittens.
