Ok, I guess I'll use Mastodon more. :(

That's not :(! That's :)!

Mastodon is pretty cool, I tell you.

Mastodon is pretty cool, it's just that I like the community I've gathered together on BSKY more. It really is a case of you go where the people are and BSKY feels more alive comparatively. My Mastodon feed feels like a news feed of reposted paper articles. BSKY feels like real people.

That's interesting—that's not my experience at all! Maybe you could try following more people, or setting up some hashtag timelines using the advanced web interface? You can create timelines combining different hashtags, that way.

Wafrn has fediverse (Mastodon) and atproto (Bluesky) support

well about 20 minutes ago the kws magically went away. guessing they are kneejerking to the recent court decisions. 07/09/2026 kws is back. for people that do that kind of shit, its a good way to keep names and addresses in a sellable database with the user none the wiser

Yep, I was not going to provide data to any website for age verification. So my BlueSky account is gone.

Master167@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 35d

Ah, there's the reason. Texas has a law requiring it and an appeals court allowed it to go through.

i was, but the KWS crap is still borked after 4 attempts

Rocketpoweredgorilla@lemmy.ca · 28 pts · 35d (1 reply)

I just vpn'ed through Texas and yup, got that too. As soon as I changed back to my normal location and reloaded it was fine. If that ends up happening to me I'm just gonna delete my account, fuck that shit. Nothing there worth fascists keeping an eye on me.

Blacksky ain't locked out yet, it's having trouble though, almost like Bsky corporate is trying to screw third parties too.

Sam_Bass@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 35d

not surprising

forzanature@lemmy.zip · 4 pts · 34d

BlueSky was always a PsyOp trap anyway

Good, let them burn....

It's become painfully clear bluesky isn't worth your time
