The whales were focused on the wrong trillionaire wannabe

P00ptart@lemmy.world · 11 pts · 54d (3 replies)

Is there really a "wrong" billionaire for them to eat?

village604@adultswim.fan · 6 pts · 54d (2 replies)

I think the ones who say they don't pay enough taxes then exemplify it by doing good with the money should be considered.

Note that I said considered, not let off the hook.

Fair enough. But they need to speak up more.

wyldrstallyns@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 3 pts · 54d

Those rare few (ie. 3-6) need to drastically up their efforts to show a driving interest in doing so, or they'll stay on that same list as the rest of their kind. 🤌🏼

Side note: all guillotines of/by/for The People converting billionaires to fertilizer should have signs atop them that simply read "Heroes Work Here" (with or without an apostrophe), IMHO.

"CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARL! That kills people!"

Reverendender@sh.itjust.works · 6 pts · 54d

He can’t become a trillionaire if he’s pushed into a giant fan.

What if like Jonah he survives?

Mouselemming@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 54d (1 reply)

Jonah repented.

He got lucky his was a krill whale not a killer whale.

I guess we could try starting with krill whales on some of the less-evil billionaires.

With Bezos I think we should follow Amazon policies and use the fastest method, regardless of if he gets hurt or killed.

Orca Express.

They've already been eating our trash for generations throughout the entire hydrosphere, and now we're proposing hand-feeding it to them? Poor orcas. 🥲

Instead, I say we keep it in-house and compost our own garbage —after removing all the microplastics, silicone, pharmaceuticals, sociopathy, etc., of course, to keep from tainting the crops.

Perhaps a gourmet selection of choice morsels offered in genuine apology might help smooth future human generations' relations with our aquatic neighbors. (Assuming that effort doesn't rely on "AI" to translate.) 😉
