I don't get it. Is the card saying bro as in like "bro, slow your roll"?

It's impossible to not get a Heathcliff comic. You think you don't get it? Oh but you got it perfectly. But it's like a ball thrown at you, instead of getting it in your hands, you got it in the face. I can't make myself clearer.

bro

Depends on the orientation of the card and the position in the pull. A card by itself says nothing. It's how it interacts with the other cards that gives it meaning.

Of course, the inverted "bro" should be read as "orb". Woe betide if crossed by an orb.

Exactly

You've reminded me that I haven't used my Tarot app for too long.

I've always found it a fun way to get new ideas, or look at something in a new way. Don't even mention Rune-stones or the I-Ching, equally neglected. Fuck.

A long term goal of mine is to illustrate a tarot deck. I just haven't settled on a theme or style or anything else yet.

I guess Heathcliff doesn't quite have enough memorable characters to work. Few comic series would, really. But I could see various mythological pantheons working pretty well. Celtic and/or East-Asian myths could be pretty interesting.

My idea (maybe ~25yrs ago) was to create cards using montages sourced from contemporary media, combined with custom art that would accompany it. I think I did a couple concept cards, now lost I guess. This disease sucks, as it more or less took both art & guitar away from me at that time.

I would need to use my own IP. I'm not going to a rights holder and asking for permission.

Oh, I thought you were talking about a hobby project.
