Trudeau made a similar deal in 2001 for Canada, the details are...oh sorry, it's a secret.
We now have the formulary paying $400,000/yr per patient, and a single injection of a drug can cost as much as $2.8M.
Both drugs have questionable efficacy. That's polite for they don't fucking work.

Early on Starmer was interviewed about the NHS and he squeezed out a few tears about how well his mum had been treated and at the time I thought that was something he should have kept only for himself and knew this day would probably come.

Article uses extremely biased language, not talking much about the titled issue and instead going off on a ranting tirade about "other side bad" - which it may very well be, but this isn't "news", it's heavily skewed opinion. Posting it here in a "news" community I expected otherwise, so in the future you might want to explicitly add "[Opinion]* to the title? Or post to a political discussion community rather than "news".

It says Opinion at the top of the article in bold letters. But despite that, the article is completely filled with details and facts that explain how this all came to pass and what it means for the UK. What are you even saying?

Articles dont usually convert by themselves, people do. So i think its good to create a nice summary of the entire situation for people that might have this discussion with someone that needs converting.
