Whenever i see ads on any screen ( mostly when visiting friends or family ) i take a minute to let sink in how horrible it is to have ads disrupting everything.

The volume scares me the most, it destroys any mood you might have been in.

We travel the high seas but will occasionally watch Plex Live TV. Oh the commercials are so horrible...

It's kind of weird, but I do kind of miss ads on television.

By that I mean the kind of ads that aren't specifically targeted, by Big Algorithm, at my last 5 minutes of doomscrolling.

Every now and then I watch the local news on the local broadcast stations, and it's interesting to watch the various ads that I used to be able to chat about with co-workers and real-life friends as common cultural references.
