Quick History of House Music:
Before even House music fill the dance floors, disco was all over producing and selling records, when in 1979 the "Disco Demolition Night" happen and fell out almost overnight.

Not long after, DJs and producers in Chicago such as Larry Levan, Frankie Knuckles, Ron Hardy, Jesse Saunders, Chip E., Joe Smooth, Steve "Silk" Hurley, Farley "Jackmaster" Funk, Marshall Jefferson, Phuture and others, took what was then called disco and kept playing as well creating it to what we call today house.
While Frankie Knuckles is called "the godfather of house music", and that's right, Larry Levan is the one who started it all with his residencies back then.

Since then House became a place where everyone is accepted, not matter the race, color or sex.
