That's pretty surprising actually. If this article would have said the opposite, that development is ending without going into 1.0, I would have accepted that as truth and moved on with my life.
It is a pretty fun and cool vehicle building game though. It reminds me of a more in-depth Banjo-Kazooie: N&B. There are plenty of YouTube videos and workshop addons that are pretty big and intricate.

Looks like 7 Days to Die but more cartoony and has robots instead of zombies
