There's still consumption in communism. Or Leninism which is what most who pretend to be communist are. I don't know if that's the word you want specifically. Perhaps critique those they support, and those that would support them. But there is no life in absence of consumption generally.
Has there ever been a single conquest in history that has not used a black legend of some kind to lionize an invading force? Believing shit like this has got to indicate some fundamental failures of cognitive ability. Real quick just start checking people's object permanence.

Absolutely. Offer them a path out if they want it. Nothing at all wrong with that. But you can't free someone without their consent. Though violation of consent is the favorite pastime of states everywhere.
