I’m not sure why the one guy doesn’t have a badge number and the other guy does.
Also EPA has an interesting history with crime, and its location in Silicon Valley. Not sure it is wise for ICE to attempt to exploit that, if that’s what they are doing.

The truth is the first guy can’t remember his badge number because he’s a dumbass and he’s actually showing signs he’s afraid of the girl. As for the second individual, I question the speed of his answer potentially hinting he’s a compulsive liar.

Absolutely not defending an ICE officer, but it could be that before the second guy swooped in like that, he saw the difficulty his accomplice was having with giving his number and checked his before going to the door, he was primed to give the girl his name before she asked. Could be why he said it so fast, so he didn't forget or stumble through it.
But also, fuck these guys and whatever story they were going to give her.
