I wrote a short story called “Deleting Fortnite”.

The craziness of the “ate” part is not fiction! You can touch and be nourished by God. Also you have an “I’m gonna steal—” soul that you need help with.

I wrote the whole thing (not including small edits) between 5:33 PM and 8:31 PM on April 30 to procrastinate on software engineering homework. It felt like the words were falling down from Heaven. When I began, all I had in my mind was the simple “I have two dating apps and neither is working” joke idea that I came up with earlier that day.
