I heard that if you want to deliver a hard punch, you shouldn't aim your punch at the target but behind it. If you aim it at the target, your brain will make you stop before delivering a full blow because you've already reached your target. By aiming behind it, the target experiences the full blow of your punch. That being said, it is possible to aim too far behind the target :3c
