The animated film “Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender” will now premiere in July rather than October as originally planned.

Paramount has announced that the film, which continues the story from “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” will debut globally on Paramount+ on July 25. The film was originally supposed to debut on Oct. 9 in theaters before Paramount shifted it to a direct-to-streaming release in December 2025. The entire film then leaked online in April, which no doubt factored into the decision to hasten its release.

Can all of is who watched the leak make the effort to go see it again in theatres. Maybe it can be a hit leading to more leaks in the future

The article says it's not being released in cinemas, so no
Really unfortunate, I would have gone rather than subscribe to Paramount+

I’ll grab it on blu ray if it gets a release, but fuck paying for paramount+ to see it.

Looks computer animated which is a major turn off for me tbh, always looks weird especially action.

*Yep,

The animation style used in the feature film combines 2D hand-drawn animated characters with 3D computer-animated environments, courtesy of Deep Canvas technology.[28][29]

Though that avatar state thumbnail is clearly also generated and not drawn..
