Remote Work (US Citizen Living in Mexico)

Hi all! Not sure how active this community is, but I figured I'd try. So my husband and I moved from the US to Mexico in April, and I haven't had luck in getting a remote US-based job that pays at least $1500 USD a month. I have over a year of experience in IT and over a decade in customer service. I've been mostly applying to IT jobs since that's more my passion, but I enjoy customer service as well. I feel like a lot of my applications have just been sent into the void. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)
