No you didn't. We have now entered the realm of precognition. The box office success of a movie is predicted weeks before opening and movies that will not perform well won't even start at the theatres in the future.

Although they at least have advanced ticket sales to get a rough estimate, although they're also extrapolating way beyond that, so still precognition.
