I like to say as an electronic engineer:

If I didn't burn anything, then I didn't do anything.

Finding out "not to's" is part of the process.

WHY WHY WHY cant I just manifest them. I know how to do it, I have all the material, why cant I skip the actual doing part.

The actual doing part might be fun if I didn't have the attention span of a goldfish and just end up adding a project to the shame pile
