This easy recipe to do, comes from the Food Network Italia. A very beautiful channel, way, way different and better from the USA, with tons of recipes and cooking shows to watch. I do love it and watch it 2–3 times per week when possible.
Now on the recipe:
A pack of past
4 tomatoes
2-3 garlic's
Lots of olive oil
Pepper
Salt
Sugar
And fresh basil leafs
How it's done:
First, you chop the garlic and tomatoes into big slices. Then you put lots of olive oil in a pan at high heat. Once the olive oil starts burning, add the garlic and 3 minutes after the tomatoes. Put the lid on and set the fire at medium.
For the pasta, it is good to have water already boiling if possible, and once it's boiling, put the pasta in and half cook them. For example, if the package says 11 minutes, do 5 or 6 minutes.
As the pasta is cooking, take a little bit of water in a mug, and add it to the tomato sauce along with salt, pepper and sugar. Mix them well and put the lid on.
Once the pasta is ready, put it in the sauce with a tong and mix it well. Then put on the lid and leave it for a couple more minutes.
Take some fresh basil leaves and add them in.
Enjoy.

I see some shredded tomato bits, maybe a whole pack of pasta to 4 tomatoes is too much.

Depending on how big the tomatoes are. Mine where medium size.

The water? Was it drained?

You just grub the pasta with a tong from the pot and put the in the sauce. No need to drain, right away. Thats why you half way cook the pasta.

looks tasty! i like simple healthy stuff like this for summer, thanks :9
when food network first came on it was all cooking shows like that, just a camera and a cook explaining what they were doing, no competitions, no guy fieri or bobby flay, I miss it so I'll check out the international ones like you said hah

I watched season 1 of Hell’s Kitchen, and the difference in how cooking was treated then vs the show now is insane.
The whole time Ramsay is trying to get these people to improve, “no more messy Jimmy, right”, and he’s kicking the asses of the professional chefs who should know better but are lazy.
Now it’s just pure drama.
Most cooking shows won’t teach you a thing about cooking these days. Even Ramsay’s 24 hours to hell and back skips 2-3 steps per dish while he’s teaching chefs how to cook them. It’s a real draw the rest of the owl vibe.

Yeah I'm not sure what happened to Ramsay, he totally lost it, he has ads for I Can't Believe It's Not Butter now, what a total and utter sellout. Like he wasn't rich enough he has to shill? Please. have some respect, Gordon.
I used to watch the replays of the shows he made for British Television and they were so much better too

He definitely feels different after buying hex clad too. Everyone on all his shows look like hex clad nascar drivers.
I can’t believe he’d shill I can’t believe it’s not butter. I have his cookbook, I’ve genuinely learned from it, and that’s sobering he’s never say to use in it.

I think only the Italian is different. The Greek one has translated shows from USA.
Cooking shows are one thing in the Italian, they also have famous Italian chefs visiting local restaurants all over Italy, homes and families, pluss there is a show where monks and nuns cook and each have a recipe book.

Ahh I see, thank you! Yeah I like that kind of homey feel the home cooking shows have compared to all the competition shows now, they're just all throwing stuff together, it's not cozy to watch lol
