In the sense that no person of taste WANTS to drink American beer, and so can choose to act accordingly - yes, you’re free. Free in the political sense, and free from stained well water.

Cuban rum is 🔥

Yeah? What do you recommend specifically? I might have to grab a bottle soon when I'm in Canada (assuming they import it).

I've been pretty happy with Appleton Estate, Plantation 3-Star, and Wrey & Nephew. But if there's better... yum.

Depends where in Canada you’re heading, but you should be able to find Havana Club everywhere. But if you can find Santiago de Cuba and/or Legendario, go for those too.

Legendario is sometimes available in eastern Canada, but it's not on the west coast that I've been able to find. Specifically my friend has brought me 3 bottles from Nova Scotia this year, but not sure if they still sell it given the state of things in Cuba right now

Ah I'm no connoisseur but was lucky enough to visit many years ago and loved Havana Club.

The capitalist bootlicker without an iota of original thought, like their capitalist dada.

🤣🤣🤣

You know I jest.

Never heard of capitalist dadaism, they seem incompatible.
