It seems so much faster. Mainly due to the high flow nozzle and better cooling. I bought my MK4 back in 2023, when it released. Then printer says I have 73 days of print time, but I bet I have double that due to some factory resets.

I'm not familiar with prusa models. What is the difference?

Basically, that big ass fan on the front. Also many parts in the extruder were switched out from petg to pccf. And a higher flow nozzle.

I still have the MK3 but I didn't use it for years now. It was the best 3D printer I ever had though. Before that I had a printabot, an early i3 (mk1) clone and a Malyan i3 clone, all very cumbersome to use.

The only thing that bugs me with the MK4S, is that the nre fan shroud blocks the view and is much less mesmerizing to watch it print.

Yeah, I agree with you on that but its kind of absurd how much faster the mk4s is than the mk4, and that fan is why.
