Maybe he’s learning JavaScript?

Don't let your kids learn about string concatenation

If your salary is 20k/yr and you sent your son to a 25k/yr school the math skills are genetic

Dept exists?

Photonic@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 37d (2 replies)

You mean debt? Yes, why?

nitroemdash@lemmy.wtf · 1 pts · 37d (1 reply)

Because it allows to give your child a better education than your current salary would otherwise allow.

Photonic@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 37d

Doesn’t work like that. No bank is going to give you a 25k/yr loan for your child’s education on a 20k/yr salary.

Also: it was a joke.

So does spending beyond your means. Give your kid a better life as you are able. Don't sink your own ship to save a man overboard, there's always a way.

You're already paying for public schools. Might as well use them

Rolive@discuss.tchncs.de · 9 pts · 37d (1 reply)

That's on you. You should define if it's a string or an integer.

surewhynotlem@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 37d

It's even worse. They're teaching him JavaScript.

Iirc, you use || for that operation. There's a couple of numberphile videos about that.
