Hey everyone!
I was getting frustrated with popular browser extensions getting bloated, tracking history, or breaking/losing data during Manifest V3 updates. So, I built Session Sidekick.
It's a lightweight sidebar extension for Chrome and Brave that does two things in one panel:
Local Session Snapshots: Save your active tab workspaces with 1-click, search them in real-time, and edit session names. All data stays in your local browser storage (chrome.storage.local). Tab Sleeping (RAM Saver): Uses the browser's native tabs.discard API to put background tabs in your workspace to "sleep," returning memory back to your PC instantly. Why I made it this way:
100% Local: No cloud backends, no tracking analytics, and works fully offline. "Cozy Sketchbook" UI: I was tired of slick, clinical AI/SaaS dark-themes. I went with a warm paper-cream theme, wobbly hand-drawn borders, and flat shadows to give it a human, tactile feel. I currently run this locally on my own setup. If there is enough interest, I would be happy to upload it to a public GitHub repository so everyone can download and use it for free!
Let me know what you think!

The AI tabs in the screenshot are a bit of a giveaway.

I don't mind that you wrote it with AI, it's a cool extension. It basically already exists though (Simple Tab Groups, can recommend).
