don’t even need to read the article – carbon capture is such a colossal boondoggle (Piped) it’s no wonder Texas’ Grifters Republicans are falling over themselves to get their hands on that cash cow

Carbon capture will surely be an interesting technology once it matures in 50-100 years. Then we want to get the junk out of the air. Not now, zero emmisions comes first.

Whether or not this project succeeds we really need to implement some kind of carbon capture process... or a process to eject CO2 into space. Can you get on that one Elon?

Now go see the mountain of coal next to a coal burning power plant. They’re gonna use it up in probably half a year.

For every one of those power plans you need a capture device recreating a slightly smaller mountain in the same time from air. Good fucking luck.
