When I was a wee pup (probably six years old), the water park in the next town over used the same kind of bracelet as the hospital admissions.
We could never afford a trip, so one day after a brief stay in the hospital I kept my bracelet so I could tell my school chums about the great time I had at the water park.

I knew a person who didn't take any of his wristbands off for like seven years. Had a nice sleeve by the end. Shit was rancid.

The trick is to put them on a key ring not directly on the zipper so you can transfer them between jackets
