Opinion: Ontario PC MPPs needed hotel rooms to rest. The poor babies only get five months of summer vacation

I was so ready to defend them (🤡) because I've been denied travel for 'optics' so many times but 6 km?!?!?

Yes, they work late and no, the summer break isn't 'time off' (they are supposed to be working in their constituency) but jfc that's something else.

If I worked in the OPS I'd be really fucking mad about all the wage freeze/salary freeze/travel moratoriums that Doug has brought in while his team are pulling this bullshit.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to continually fleece the Ontario public from their hard earned tax dollars?

It’s exhausting and those MPs work overtime at working under time to continually undermine this province by stealing from us, destroying education, privatizing healthcare and destroying our science centre, providing a crooked spa company with prime Toronto real estate and destroying our environment with a highway to no where while failing to build 1.5 million homes or help solve food insecurity by controlling the prices, but hey at least we don’t need to pay for our license plate stickers anymore.
