Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps says in a statement that it attacked and destroyed a US drone depot in Bahrain in an attack early this morning.
It also said it destroyed “the main artificial intelligence center in Bahrain”, claiming it was used by the US to identify targets in Iran and commit “war crimes”.
“We will henceforth destroy the most important industrial, information technology, and artificial intelligence assets of companies with American shareholders in the region, regardless of the country they are in, and we will obliterate the most valuable assets of American companies in all countries hosting American bases”, the IRGC’s statement concludes.

Iran said that if the US targeted infrastructure, they'd target infrastructure too. The US hit Iranian civilian infrastructure, so now Iran is hitting back at military and privately held commercial infrastructure. FAFO.

NSA and NRCC aren't exactly geared for drones - they might have been storing them, but I have no idea why / where they would be. And if they hit NSA, why aren't they talking about striking navcent again? I really don't know what to make of this one, as far as I've seen US drones aren't even particularly relevant to the US' strategy, especially since Iran has exhaustively demonstrated the ability to take out US drones in combat (they downed another Reaper barely an hour ago). Is there a USAF base in Bahrain I've forgotten, or were these naval drones or something? Very weird. Maybe they meant King Faisal?

When used correctly drones do what paratrooper used to do, create pressure and chaos a distance away from the main fight in areas that are supposed to be safe. This prevents the enemy from concentrating on you even if the drones by themselves won't win the thing, kind of like throwing a beehive at someone you're in a fight with and now he has to worry about you as a primary threat but can't ignore the bees or they become a cumulative exhausting threat.
Don't worry, our leadership has fired anyone capable of understanding how to use our weapons the way they're supposed to be used so now we're going to follow the Russian route of 'just throw it all at the enemy to make room for more stuff to throw at the enemy' because the point is not to win but to grift the military budget.
