So while it's a bad look for LG we all knew they were spying assholes. What is worse is the trust in windows update. I mean if windows update starts losing trust, then auto updates will get disabled by users and then well have a wave of botnets.

It took me literally (yes, literally) less than a minute to find the first three ways to disable automatic updates in windows 11. Seriously, this comment took me like 3 times as long to write.

Windows security in a nutshell

It is not normal to have 10 pieces of shitty proprietary vendor software installing itself and running in the background.

It is normal to have vendors collaborate on something like mesa or the kernel and thats it, everything essential works.
