This is what made me depressed when the Steam Machine released. Everyone thought the price was bad and many were mad about it. I saw the price and realised it was probably what will be the correct price for that level of hardware in the coming months. AI price gouging bullshit sucks balls.
As a customer, I'm not all that interested in how the sausage gets made, so to speak. If something costs X to make but the value to me is X/2, then the manufacturer has a problem, not me.
The manufacturers have the problem. It's a luxury good that I don't need, that's what I'm saying. If they can't offer it for a price point that reflects its value to me, that sucks for them, I guess.
