There is an issue here though. Colm Meaney, an irish man, would never be credited in a Far Right Trek.

I don’t know why, but “Space…FIRE TORPEDOES!” Is killing me

I'm so glad, I was honestly worried people weren't going to get the joke and were going to get upset with me.

Trust me, it’s an excellent joke, and an excellent analogy. You’ve got the violence, but absolutely no explanation of why it may have been necessary or justified, and absolutely none of the post-violence self-reflection in order to learn from the experience. If that’s not a perfect description of hard-right ideology, I don’t know what is.

Edit: or is it an allegory…🤔

No Troi on the bridge, so it fits.

Just throw that one exercise scene in there somewhere

We already had this, and it was the high point of Enterprise. https://youtu.be/sfbsZRbwbJ4

Those are the two best episodes, hands down. Its like the writers were finally told to take off the restraints and do something fun because it didn't matter anymore, and they smashed it out of the park.

I do love enterprise. It's a little sad that it's high point is an alternate universe. But like, most of the series is "the crew gives Archer their best advice, which he ignores, and creates a problem for everyone."

And not just the writing. So many of the second line characters that had been nothing but cardboard the whole series suddenly bloomed. I had really been questioning the ability of some of the performers on my first watch through, but it turns out it was a script/direction/production problem because they all suddenly came to life when the gloves came off.

This cracked me up

I was half-expecting the Enterprise to just be gone from the intro, lol

This is literally the Ellison's plans for the future
