Corpos agreeing to a two year delay makes me wonder how much of a shit show development has been so far.

They must have had nothing.

Or, they are aware of other economic forces at work over the next two years.

Those people they fired are starting to haunt them. Well deserved.

TR franchise built-in benchmarks have been used as a YouTube-friendly hardware review datapoint since 2015.

Maybe they're worried that in the current market almost nobody is going to have the hardware to run a nextgen AAA game with acceptable performance.

If they delay 2 years it's possible conditions could improve (though I wouldn't bet on it).

Ongoing sector-wide layoffs and studio reorganization heavily impacted team bandwidth and project timelines.
