Oregon checking in. Oregon has already burned the average annual burned acreage in the first month of fire season, exceeding all the acres burned in an entire year last year. A couple of days ago it was at 680,000+ acres so far.

I'm so fucking terrified of the rest of the season. I'm on the coast but we had a fire here a few years back. We have like no snow cap :(

I feel so bad for the people of Sisters, OR right now. 150 foot tall flames and winds so high they can't fly aircraft to battle the fire today.

I really hope they can save the town. It's such a great spot.

It starts to get better in France it seems (got evacuated from Cap Ferret), but dude is it smoky every f where 🤢.
